Our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on Monday 27 July 2026 at 7.30pm in Burton Memorial Hall.

We are proud to welcome Bob Sutcliffe, OBE, as our Speaker. Bob is the Founder and Patron of The Creative Health Trust. This unique Charity offers Grants to Hospices, funding creative therapies and improving wellbeing when it matters most. I’m sure Bob will be bringing along a stock of his cards and other fundraising items for sale.

Put the date in your diaries. We hope you will come along to find out more and help us to support this amazing charity, and as with all Burton events, there will be the mandatory supplies of tea and cake!

News Update!

Well, what can I say... a big thank you to everyone who visited us in the BMH over our Art and Craft Exhibition weekend (9 & 10 May 2026). As I watched the hall fill up with the sound of voices, the drinking of tea and eating of cake (and the odd sausage roll), the greeting of friends and family, all the worry and hard work beforehand melted away. This didn’t happen without the dedication of our hard working Committee, Society Members and Friends and the local community. Let's do it all again next year!!!!

We’ve jumped on the AI bandwagon... our Committee photo from the weekend (missing one or two members who successfully managed to avoid their photo being taken)
